In the corner is a macassar ebony desk with a reading lamp on an elegant metal support. On two low, white wall bookcases there are two glazed ceramics by the Hungarian artist Maria Rohmer, the Skier and the Cricketer, purchased at the Milan Triennale and published in "Domus" in 1933, a ceramic statue of the Madonna by Elsie Doelker (made by I.C.S. of Vietri in 1927) and, piece de resistance, Silvio Tofanari’s silver owl made in 1924.
