In the 1930s, Fratelli Santi was probably the most important cabinet-making workshop in Rome and one of the most famous in Italy.
Their interior design items were to be found in numerous public buildings and Roman houses of the time. They also worked with Vittorio Morpurgo and Marcello Piacentini and their participation in the Milan Triennale V consecrated them as authentic wood artists.
Sadly their memory is lost, as has happened to many excellent Italian art workshops to the advantage of other players with whom they share a leading role.
