Like the fresco in the previous room, Giulio Rosso’s paintings blend ancient and modern, while giving lightness to the room. Traditional yachts in the harbour and older buildings are placed alongside modern cars, airplanes and women dressed in the latest fashion. The two frescoes decorate the room in pastel colours that harmonize with those of the walls on which they are painted to give the room a certain serenity.
